Although this is pretty creepy, it is a very good image. Whether or not this is actually a real image (since I just found it on the internet, I don’t know for sure) it is still an inspiration. Just looking at the way the 250 pound person’s body is distorted by the fat that encompasses it makes a person think. There is no way that you can argue that the fat hasn’t intruded on this body’s ability to function. The fat is surrounding everything, it is messing up how the ankles are positioned, pushing the arms away from the body, taking away a neck entirely, and surrounding all of the organs. Since every body distributes weight differently, this image is a hard one for me to look at. I wonder if that image on the left is actually a 250 pound person, is it more than that? And if it really does represent 250 pounds, is that what my body looks like? I am currently sitting just below 250 pounds (with previous posts of weight lost totaling 44.6 pounds, you do the math). I do not see that image when I look in the mirror (thank ya Jesus), but it is a reminder that there is still a long road ahead.
